The team at one of Manchester Memorial Hospital’s affiliated primary care practices provided 13 cases of food for local families this holiday season. The donation boxes included a turkey, potatoes, stuffing, corn, green beans, mac and cheese, cranberry sauce, gravy, peas, rolls and desserts. While none of their patients ever ask for a box, the staff and providers do this every year for the ones who share they are in need. One of the patients who was blessed by the team’s generosity said she would not have had a Thanksgiving this year had it not been for the clinic’s kindness.
Psalm 100:4 says, “Enter his gates with thanksgiving and his courts with praise; give thanks to him and praise his name.” In extending Christ’s healing and love, this primary care team gave families an incredible reason to be thankful.
