Central Texas Medical Center, Metroplex Adventist Hospital, Rollins Brook Community Hospital, Texas Health Huguley Fort Worth South and their associated physician's groups, comprising Adventist Health System's Southwest Region, are now part of an integrated network on one single technology platform with their recent implementation of the iSynergy initiative. The region's implementation was completed in phases, with new HR functionality going live between April 16 and April 24, in accordance with respective payroll cycles, and finance and supply chain functionality going live regionally on May 1.

"We now have 22 facilities that have implemented iSynergy, and with each implementation, our system is strengthened by the move toward an updated consistent platform, shared data, new self-service tools, expert support, and an enhanced level of efficiency in the areas of human resources, finance and supply chain," said senior vice president of iSynergy, Dave Huffman. "These outcomes are all part of a larger vision to equip our health care network for the future."

The iSynergy rollout began in 2014 and is slated to continue through 2019. Streamlining the functions of finance, human resources and supply chain allows each of our facilities, as well as the organization as a whole, to reduce redundancies, focus on patient experience improvements and leverage enterprisewide best practices to make us more efficient and effective across the board. Next to implement iSynergy is the Southeast Region, slated to deploy the initiative this fall.
