Human Resources Residency

If you are interested in being a part of Adventist Health System’s Human Resource transformation from a traditional function to a strategic one, then the Human Resource track is designed for you. You will learn what it means to be a top-performing healthcare HR team designing and executing progressive strategies that inspire our team members to live out their passion and potential while adding business value to the organization. You will be able to participate in all aspects of human resource strategy from being part of one of our newly created Total Rewards, Talent Management or Organizational Effectiveness Centers of Expertise, Shared Services team or HR Business Partner teams in one of our 46 facilities. AHS plans to grow significantly over the next 10 years, and that will only be possible with strong Human Resource Leaders who create strategies that grow and develop talent, improve retention, create a compelling employee experience and help to Extend the Healing Ministry of Christ.

  • Human Resource Administration
  • Project-based rotations through various corporate departments as well as facility-based HR offices
  • Leadership Development classes and training

Residency Requirements

Residency Area:
Human Resources
Completion of a summer internship program and/or previous related work experience; bachelor's degree; 3.2 overall GPA; 3.4 major GPA
2 years
Salary, full employee benefits, relevant course study reimbursement, SHRM certification (PHR), limited travel and moving expenses
