Michael Schultz is senior executive vice president for Adventist Health System and president/CEO of the West Florida Division. In this role, he provides executive leadership and oversight of the 10-campus division.
Schultz has been a vice president with Adventist Health System since 2000. His past experience includes serving as president/CEO of Adventist Health System hospitals in the states of Tennessee, Kentucky and North Carolina. Prior to joining Adventist Health System, Schultz served in finance and hospital administration roles at health care facilities in California, Illinois and Tennessee.
He earned a master's degree in business administration from Loyola University, and a bachelor's degree in business administration from Southern Adventist University. Schultz is active in the Tampa Bay community, currently serving as board chair for the Museum of Science and Industry and on the board of directors of the Tampa Bay Partnership, American Heart Association and Hillsborough County Economic Development Council.
