Roscoe Howard is vice president of mission and ministries for Adventist Health System. In this role, he oversees mission and ministry integration in each hospital, refines mission opportunities throughout the system, and bridges collaboration between Adventist Health System and the Seventh-day Adventist Church. He also administers the MDIV/CPE program for Adventist chaplains to ensure mission consistency on each campus.
In the past, Howard has served as president of the Mid-American Union Conference of Seventh-day Adventists, and in various leadership roles at the North American Division of Seventh-day Adventists, including secretary and vice president for administration.
Howard holds a doctorate in ministry from Fuller Theological Seminary, a Master of Divinity from Andrews University, and a bachelor's degree in theology from Pacific Union College. He is also a certified diversity trainer who has presented in nearly 20 countries on several continents.
