Ted Hamilton is vice president of medical mission for Adventist Health System, a role in which he focuses on promoting personal and professional well-being for physicians. In addition to having years of experience as a family physician, Hamilton has served as senior medical officer for Florida Hospital and director of its family practice residency.
Hamilton graduated from Loma Linda University School of Medicine and did his family practice training at Florida Hospital. He also holds a Master of Business Administration from Rollins College Crummer Graduate School of Business. In addition to participating in Adventist Health System's community involvement program, which supports several Central Florida nonprofits, Hamilton has served on the boards of the Orlando Healthcare Center for the Homeless, Shepherd's Hope, and Second Harvest Food Bank of Central Florida.
