Florida Hospital Waterman was named “Best In Value” in the Hospital Value Index, a national ranking of hospitals conducted by Data Advantage, a health care information company.
The Hospital Value Index, the first scorecard to rank the value of care provided by U.S. hospitals, evaluated more than 1,500 general acute-care hospitals in America’s 100 largest cities, serving approximately 180 million consumers.
The study used publicly available data to specifically measure key elements that consumers consider when choosing a hospital. Hospitals were ranked according to their quality of care, efficiency of care, affordability, patient satisfaction, and comprehensive reputation.
