Palmer Named Chief Operating Officer for Florida Hospital Heartland Division
2/6/2008

Adventist Midwest Health announced today that Isaac Palmer, CEO of Adventist Bolingbrook Hospital, has accepted a new position within Adventist Health System.  Palmer, 32, has been selected as Chief Operating Officer of the three hospital Florida Hospital Heartland Division, headquartered in Sebring, FL.  He will be moving into his new role in March.

“We are very happy that Isaac was chosen for this wonderful promotion within our organization,” said David L. Crane, President and CEO of the Hinsdale-based Adventist Midwest Health.  “We are also very sad to lose such a dynamic leader who is loved by his staff and the Bolingbrook community.  Isaac performed an outstanding job with the planning and opening of Adventist Bolingbrook Hospital.  Not only is he moving up in our company, but this move brings the Palmer family closer to family in Florida.”

Adventist Midwest Health is in the process of finalizing the appointment of Palmer’s replacement, and is committed to selecting an individual who shares Palmer’s vision, leadership abilities and connections to the communities served by Adventist Bolingbrook Hospital.
