Seventh-day Adventist Christians have a renowned history of serving communities through health and healing. Since the mid-1800s, Seventh-day Adventists have maintained an innovative approach to healthcare; providing patients with whole-person care.

Adventist Health System is sponsored by the Seventh-day Adventist Church and was established in 1973 to operate a region of their hospitals as part of a worldwide humanitarian mission. Around the world, the Church operates over 500 healthcare facilities dedicated to helping people achieve mind, body, and spiritual wholeness. This concept of whole-person health influences many of our personal lifestyle choices and continues to shape our philosophy of healthcare.
